These eligibility requirements ensure that AYDA is open to a broad spectrum of youth in the ASEAN region, fostering inclusivity and enabling a wide range of participants to contribute to digital action and positive change.

• Age Criteria: Applicants must be youth aged between 18 and 30 years old.
• Nationality: Applicants should be citizens or residents of ASEAN Member States.
• Educational Background: AYDA encourages applications from individuals with diverse educational backgrounds, including university students pursuing degrees, as well as those who are unemployed, underemployed, or self-employed.
• Access to Technology: Program members should have access to their own devices, preferably a laptop, to participate effectively in digital activities.
• Internet Connectivity: Reliable access to the Internet is essential for engaging in the program’s online resources, activities, and collaborations.
• Gender Inclusivity: AYDA welcomes youth of all genders, with a particular emphasis on encouraging the participation of women.
• Inclusivity for Disadvantaged Sections: AYDA actively seeks to include youth from disadvantaged sections of society, including but not limited to low-income groups, individuals with physical disabilities, and those hailing from remote or underserved locations.
• Interest in Digital Innovation: Participants should have an interest in digital-based innovation and collaboration.
• Multicultural Perspective: AYDA values an understanding of global issues with a multicultural perspective.

For University Students

University students pursuing their degrees are warmly invited to join two of our impactful programs:

• ASEAN Digital Champions (ADC): A unique opportunity to develop digital skills and competencies while pursuing your academic journey.
• Orbit Job Readiness for ASEAN Youth: Prepare for your future career by enhancing your employability through our comprehensive job readiness program.

For University Graduates

If you have graduated from university, we extend a broader spectrum of opportunities to you. You are eligible to participate in all three of our prestigious programs:

• ASEAN Digital Champions (ADC): Elevate your digital skills with a transformative journey.
• Orbit Job Readiness for ASEAN Youth: Equip yourself with the skills needed for career success.
• AWS re/Start for ASEAN Youth: Embark on a journey to master cloud computing and enhance your professional prospects.

By offering this flexibility in program eligibility, we aim to empower individuals at various stages of their educational and professional journeys. Whether you are a university student seeking to complement your studies or a diploma/bachelor degree holder ready to dive into a comprehensive digital learning experience, AYDA has a pathway tailored just for you.

AYDA program participants will be organized into batches. It will be enabling them to partake in several programs concurrently, with different durations for each program. This inclusive approach is designed with the aim of maximizing the nurturing and harnessing of every individual’s potential to the fullest, allowing participants to explore various learning avenues within AYDA and accommodating their diverse interests and preferences.

The cycle below is an overview of the program implementation schedule for each batch. This staggered approach ensures efficient program delivery. It accommodates a broader range of learning opportunities and schedules for AYDA participants.

Registration for the ASEAN Youth for Digital Action (AYDA) Program will remain open throughout the year.

This initial screening process is essential to maintain the quality and eligibility of program participants and ensures that all applicants are fairly considered.

• Application Evaluation: Every application undergoes an initial evaluation through administrative screening. This crucial step ensures that applications meet the program’s eligibility criteria. Once they successfully pass this administrative screening, participants will be grouped into appropriate batches.The decisions regarding participant acceptance into the program are entirely based on thorough selection and screening processes. We want to assure you that each step of this selection process is taken very seriously to ensure the quality and suitability of participants for AYDA programs. With this approach, we are committed to delivering a high-quality and impactful learning experience for the engaged youth of ASEAN.
• Processing Time: The duration of this evaluation process may vary depending on the volume of applicants. Typically, it ranges from 5 to 14 working days, depending on the application load.
