The Origin and Vision of AYDA
ASEAN Youth for Digital Action (AYDA) was born out of the ASEAN Youth Dialogue (AYD) 2023, a pivotal event held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 11 to 13 April, under the banner of Indonesia’s 2023 ASEAN Chairmanship.
At AYD 2023, youth representatives from all ASEAN member countries came together to explore how digital development can advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through dynamic discussions and collaboration, they envisioned a future where young people drive digital innovation for regional prosperity.
In response to the momentum generated at AYD, AYDA was established to sustain and expand these efforts. By engaging a broader and more diverse youth audience, AYDA aims to extend the reach and impact of digital initiatives across ASEAN, ensuring that youth remain at the forefront of regional transformation
